Orange pith (stringy, spongy white stuff between the peel and the fruit in citrus) is full of vitamins and goes great with this signature soft dark chocolate! These oranges are harvested from Costa Sur.

Whole cacao beans are roasted over a wood fire, ground, and incorporated whole into a decadent, slightly-soft, ganache-like chocolate bar. These untempered rolls of chocolate are kept refrigerated until shipped, and we recommend you do the same until you are ready to eat!

Unique treat

Similar to a truffle in texture, with a slight tendency to crumble. As the description suggests, the pithy orange bits are a bit chewy, but they add a very fresh orange flavor.

Not my cup of chai

The chocolate tastes really good but the bits of orange inside were too difficult to chew for me. The consistency of the chocolate is sort of crumbly.

Barely edible

Unfortunately, this was not what I was looking for at all and makes me hesitant to even try the coconut one. The flavor is acidic and resembles an orange but not in a nice way. The texture is also off putting.
