I have been impressed with all of the Letterpress chocolates that I have tried, and this one was not an exception. I bought it because I remembered liking Kokoa Kamili from Twenty-four Blackbirds. The version by Letterpress is equally pleasing. In fact, I tried to find the Letterpress bar amongst my many bars to give an on-the-spot tasting note for this review and found that the wrapper was empty. That says it all - great taste - I ate it before my other chocolate bars!! And, it is organic. A win and a win.
I wanted to savor it and take my time, but I did not do so.
I had a bite. I let it linger, wrapping up the rest.
But, before I knew it, I unwrapped the rest and it was all gone.
It tastes of browned butter, but not overpoweringly so.
It is creamy and melted quickly enough.
Decadent chocolate, makes a great stocking stuffer.
