DESCRIPTION:

This cocoa from the southwest of the country reveals vegetal and woody aromas. The cocoa beans we work with come from an exclusively female cooperative in the Guémon region, located in a forest and mountainous area. The cooperative is UTZ certified and its 300 members have benefited from additional training, microcredits to invest in their plantations, as well as the development of other projects such as a food support program for nine local schools in the region. Cultivated cocoa is of the Forastero type
