The region of Tamana has many cocoa estates, both active and abandoned, that tell quite a story of its past involvements in Trinidad’s cocoa history. But this updated facility allows the region’s many smaller farmers to properly process their cacao, allowing them to sell it for a premium on the global & local market. Maiden Voyage Estate owner & farmer Herbert Pasqual takes great pride in the deep, smooth cocoa flavor brought out in his cacao.
