Dormouse Chocolates is a bean to bar chocolate maker from Manchester, UK established in 2014 by Isobel Carse. She experiments to seek unusual and rare ingredients and unique methods to offer exceptional yet micro batches of chocolate bars. Isobel had started working a seasonal job at a luxury chocolate shop, where Isobel found her love for chocolate and was granted a position as a chocolatier and has never looked back! Her mission is to create chocolate that is sustainable with clear transparency in order to provide the best quality chocolate. Isobel had intended to operate her business selling truffles instead, but the idea of bean to bar kept sparking interest, so she had purchased a small bean grinder and started experimenting. Her ideas for new flavors come based on where she gets her cacao beans from Guatemala to the Philippines. Isobel named the company after the Dormouse character from the Mad Hatter’s tea party from Alice in Wonderland, which is one of her favorite books!

Creamy and caramlised

I discovered the house of Dormouse by the 100% chocolate bar they made; I was very impress by the quality and exclusiveness of the aroma and again this experience with this white chocolate is full of discoveries!
It's very creamy, buttery rich and caramelised!
