The most prolific of these is certainly Bejofo Estate, which alone produces around 300 tons of cocoa each year. Over the last decade, Malagasy cacao (cacao grown on Madagascar) has earned a reputation for fruity, almost juicy cacao beans, which transform into some of the most unique chocolate in the world. All of the cacao grown on Akesson Estate is organic-certified.

Chocolate maker Elisia hand selects her cacao beans to make pure, healthy chocolate in Fresno, California. Introduced to craft chocolate by her husband in 2014, the simplicity of ingredients used is what inspired Elisia. She wanted to create a minimally processed chocolate bar that was healthy for kids to consume as well. Raphio was inspired by her two sons Raphael and Rio. She wanted to give her sons treats without the harsh sugars and other ingredients involved as well as the desire to promote healthy chocolate especially for parents! Raphio has already earned national and international awards for their chocolate.
