What Does My Chocolate Subscription Include?

Bar & Cocoa chocolate club include 4 bars of bean to bar chocolate every month. We ship the bars we love (and we hope you do, too!) Your chocolate subscription box will arrive once every month. We also email you tasting notes about chocolate bars and makers we feature. Your feedback helps us pick our future chocolate selections!

How Does Billing Work?

Orders placed in our Store are billed immediately.

For subscriptions, you are billed immediately upon checkout. Subscriptions are re-billed on the 15th of every month, or every 3 or 6 months depending on your term. Subscriptions renew automatically, UNLESS specified to be a Gift. You can cancel automatic renewal by logging into your Club Account. (Club & Store are separate logins and accounts.)

How Can I Change My Subscription?

Your Bar & Cocoa subscription is automatically renewed for your convenience. You are can skip a month, change the delivery address, or make updates to your subscription at any time by logging in to your Club Account. If you have issues, send us an email or give us a call.

I'm buying a gift, how do I tell the recipient?

For club subscriptions, we do not email the gift recipient beforehand. When you check "This is a Gift" y ou can add a gift note, which we print on a card and include with their first box. 

For store orders, you can select a gift box option, and put a note that'd you'd like to include during check out. 

You can also print out this Chocolate Club Gift Certificate, to give it to your recipient.

What If My Chocolate Is Melted?

Shipments to warmer cities, or all anywhere during peak summer months, may include an ice packs to prevent melt. We take precautions to protect your chocolate. We recommend being available on delivery days (you receive an email with tracking number when your chocolate ships) so you can get it indoors as soon as possible. Please have your chocolate shipped to a location where it is not left outside in the heat whenever possibly (you can update your shipping address at any time)! In the unlikely event that you experience issues with your shipment, please contact us immediately, and we'll make it right.

For all inquiries related to partnerships/promotions please contact Pashmina at pashmina[at]barandcocoa.com If you're a bean to bar chocolate maker and you'd like to be considered for our club or store, we do accept samples to see if you're a fit. While we're open, please understand that we get many requests, and that sending samples does not guarantee feedback or that we will feature your bars.
