Use this 100% cacao as a blank canvas and add your favorite superfoods, herbs and spices to create your own unique ceremonial cacao elixir.
Ingredients: 100% pure ceremonial cacao. For daily use, we recommend using 11g (equal to 1 tablespoon). For ceremonial use, 22g-50g (2-4 tablespoons) can be used. They do NOT recommend using more than 50g of cacao, as you can experience a “hangover” from using too much of this plant medicine. Start slow and experiment with what’s best for you every day.
Kokolecacao sources their ceremonial cacao from a village in Chiapas, Mexico called Soconusco. The rare criollo variety, with small pods and few seeds, is where the magic lies. These beans contain the highest levels of ceremonial goodies like theobromine, endocannabanoids like anandamide, flavanols and polyphenols. Plus, this cacao isn’t as bitter as its neighbor, Guatemala, producing a smooth, fruit forward chocolate that has been produced in a particular way for thousands of years. Was skeptical after trying a different bar sweetened with honey (different company) that was pretty meh. This one is completely delicious, though! Zero notes. Just *chef's kiss*
For an inclusion bar, it doesn't getuch better than this. The tangy citrus of the chocolate is the perfect compliment to the delicate flavor of the figs. I enjoy that the fig pieces aren't too large so they blend in with each bite. Definitely a chocolate you can eat in one or two sittings!
Who would have though porcini flavor works with chocolate? Not me, but it does. I'm not even sure you need to like mushroom to enjoy this bar. It's very rich and very earthy. The mushroom is smooth and enjoyable. I would love a dark chocolate version of this even more!
