The long, historical story of cacao and mushrooms being used together to create elixirs for immortality are plenty. Together, cacao and medicinal mushrooms create an energizing, yet grounding experience that supports the nervous system and adrenals. Plus, did you know mushrooms, when mixed together, have their qualities enhanced? It’s true! For a truly synergising, grounding and gently stimulating experience, La Medicina is your blend.
Ingredients: Organic mycelium: Reishi, Turkey Tail, Chaga, Maitake, Shitake & Lion’s Mane, Hawaiian Sea Salt & Love. For daily use, we recommend using 11g (equal to 1 tablespoon). For ceremonial use, 22g-50g (2-4 tablespoons) can be used. We do NOT recommend using more than 50g of cacao, as you can experience a “hangover” from using too much of this plant medicine. Start slow and experiment with what’s best for you every day.

Kokoleka CollectiveKokolecacao sources their ceremonial cacao from a village in Chiapas, Mexico called Soconusco. The rare criollo variety, with small pods and few seeds, is where the magic lies. These beans contain the highest levels of ceremonial goodies like theobromine, endocannabanoids like anandamide, flavanols and polyphenols. Plus, this cacao isn’t as bitter as its neighbor, Guatemala, producing a smooth, fruit forward chocolate that has been produced in a particular way for thousands of years. May every drink, bite, sniff, nibble, and experience created with our cacao be blessed with love, health, and Allegria (joy).
Cacao Region
Chiapas, MexicoChiapas is the southernmost state in Mexico, bordering several Guatemalan states & the Pacific Ocean to the south. The state is generally tropical, but thanks to the convergence of land and sea, it's home to several microclimates, including deep valleys, mountainous cloud forests, and beautiful beaches. Chiapas is also notable for being home to one of the largest indigenous populations in the country, as the ancestral home of several distinct indigeneous Mayan groups, most of whom depend upon agriculture to survive.
