These organic beans come from the Rwenzururu region, 900 m away. High altitude, near the border of Congo and the Rwenzori Mountains, Uganda.

These beans were carefully selected, then they are sorted by hand, roasted, crushed and conched in their workshop located rue Fondaudège in Bordeaux in the purest tradition of “Bean to Bar”.

Tasting Notes: Fresh and tangy tannins, blooming in a fleshy and enveloping sweetness with slightly smoky notes of cherry, apricot and licorice.

Hasnaâ Chocolats

La Fèverie by Hasnaâ Chocolats is the bean to bar chocolate line from are born of one young couple’s all-consuming passion for cocoa. It is a passion that led Hasnaâ Ferreira to change careers and become a chocolatier and confectionary maker.  Hasnaâ studied under a series of Meilleurs Ouvriers de France chocolatiers (Serge Granger, Bruno Le Derf, Philippe Parc and Pascal Brunstein, to name but a few). Situated on rue Fondaudège in Bordeaux, “La Fèverie” is Hasnaâ Chocolats Grands Crus’ Bean to Bar workshop. Beans for their chocolate are carefully selected for their aroma and flavor. Hasnaâ being a staunch purist, the La Fèverie chocolate bars is only two ingredients - no added flavors or any added cocoa butter.

An approachable higher % bar

Nose of chocolate meringue, chocolate shortbread and cream.
Tastes of chocolate shortbread, cream, light caramel and some stone fruit acidity comes in about half way through the finish.

Was super excited about this bar from Uganda because I LOVE the Soltice Uganda which is nutty. This bar is like creamy lemon curd with the same sour/creamy finish. My son tastes lime and banana.
