VenchiVenchi is a gourmet Italian chocolate manufacturer founded in 1878 by Silvano Venchi. Famous for their nougatine and Piemonte hazelnut chocolate bars, Venchi has celebrated their heritage in chocolate with hundreds of recipes and products from single origin bars to pure ingredient pralines, chocolate spreads and ice cream.
As a dark chocolate and hazelnut lover, I have always been saddened by the amount of milk chocolate-hazelnut and lack of dark chocolate-hazelnut. Sometimes you can fine dark chocolate hazelnut pieces, but not the delicious creamy hazelnut filling. I absolutely love this bar. It's so decadent and melts in your mouth. The filling actually tastes strongly of hazelnut instead of being "watered down" by sugar and added fat. If you like hazelnuts and chocolate, this is a no-brainer!
