Maiden Voyage Estate is one of several Trinidadian cocoa farms which has had the opportunity to avail of a new post-harvest processing facility on La Corona Estate in Tamana, Trinidad. The region of Tamana has many cocoa estates, both active and abandoned, that tell quite a story of its past involvements in Trinidad’s cocoa history. But this updated facility allows the region’s many smaller farmers to properly process their cacao, allowing them to sell it for a premium on the global & local market.
