Q: Can I send a chocolate gift straight to the recipient?

Yes. Enter the recipient’s address at checkout and we’ll ship the order directly to them.

Q: Will they see how much I paid?

No. We never include receipts, invoices, or prices in any shipment. Only the buyer gets the receipt, by email.

Q: Can I include a gift message?

Yes. Add a free gift note at checkout. We print it on a card and include it with the order.

Q: Does it arrive ready to give?

Yes. Our gift sets arrive wrapped in a reusable cotton furoshiki. For any other order, you can add a furoshiki wrap or a gift box in your cart. Every order is packed with care and never includes prices.

Q: How far ahead should I order?

For standard U.S. shipping, order at least 5 to 7 business days before you need it to arrive, and earlier around the holidays. You can also pick a future ship date at checkout, and expedited shipping is available. See our holiday shipping dates.

Q: What if I’m running late?

A Bar & Cocoa gift card arrives by email, so it’s never too late. It also lets them choose exactly what they want.

Q: What’s a good gift for someone new to craft chocolate?
