Amedei Tuscany

Amedei Tuscany a gourmet Italian chocolate brand was founded by Cecilia Tessieri, the world's first female master chocolatier. From Tuscany, Italy, Tessieri started making confections in tiny 480 square foot space with just one employee, until she realized that not everything was made completely by her. Tessieri spent 24 years traveling around the world, working with chocolatiers in a male dominant field and visiting cacao plantations in search for the best chocolate. Tessieri created Amedei, named after her grandmother in 1990. Amedei uses only the best ingredients and Tessieri carefully overseeing each step the cacao beans go through to ensure fine quality chocolate. Only 1% of the beans harvested are deemed worthy to create Amedei’s chocolate. Amedei evolved as one of the world’s premier luxury chocolate makers and is a six time winner of the Academy of Chocolate’s “Golden Bean” award (equivalent to the Academy Award for chocolatiers, according to Tessieri.

Best of the best

Amedei’s Cremino is hands down the BEST hazelnut chocolate of any makers in the world. I used to be able to purchase these in bulk decades ago in a chocolate boutique in SF. Wish these were available in bulk. For those who haven’t tried, you’re missing out!

You're alone in your room when all of a sudden there is a knock at your door,

Sprinting towards the sound you throw open the black, metal screen only to spot a cardboard box at your feet. The delivery driver no where in sight... How do they do it, you ask yourself, as if all logistic employees apparate only to dissipate afterwards. You swear you hear the distant sound of a swerving delivery van, that not even police can attempt to slow down. Opening the package you discover luxury chocolates. Having not had lunch that evening you pitifully scarf down five pieces of artful design in the most plebian display. It's really good but your going to have to work harder at the gym tomorrow, looks like it's fifty flights of stairs for breakfast again

I still prefer plain chocolate bars, but these were a nice change

I liked even more than the red box

So I tried both boxes by Amedei, but I enjoyed this one the most. This box has more milky, citrusy and nutty pralines. Every chocolate is like a piece of art. The presentation is extremely luxurious too.
