Our European style drinking chocolate, made from single origin Colombian Arauca cacao, is rich, creamy and silky smooth. The chocolate has a round, full flavor profile with ripe stone fruit sweetness and a deep, nutty finish. The beans for this drinking chocolate come from the Arauca River Basin on the border with Venezuala. The farm is owned and run by a second-generation cacao grower named Elizabeth Agudelo.
Ingredients: Cacao, Organic Cane Sugar
Directions: Heat 1/2 cup of milk in a saucepan until steaming. Add 1/4 cup of drinking chocolate and whisk until completely dissolved and frothy. Pour into a cup and enjoy. This can also be made with nondairy milk. Use cream for an intensely decadent experience.

Cacao Region
Arauca, ColombiaWith the exception of the westernmost region, most of Arauca state is comprised of plains, whose soil has shown to be good conditions for growing cacao, banana, cassava, rice, corn, and various other fruits. However, the main economic activity of Arauca is centered around the oil industry, with the state’s Caño Limón oil fields being the second-largest in the country. The name Arauca is believed to derive from the name of the Indigenous Arawak (Arhuaco in Spanish) people, whose descendants still inhabit several regions across Colombia, including much of Arauca state.
They're chocolate is generally so amazing that i had really high expectations here. It's good, just a bit more bitter than I prefer.
Rich and full bodied with a good balance of sweetness and bitterness. Takes a bit to dissolve all of the solids, but it’s worth it for the delicious experience.
Great!
This hot chocolate is great. It's so rich and you can tell it's high-quality chocolate.
