When I first tried this bar, at the insistence of my sister, I was dubious. Now, it’s a favorite.

Crow & Moss is one of my favorite chocolate companies. I adore their Dominican Republic, Zorzal bar, and this one, though there are many others that are quite scrumptious.
Vanilla smoke…it sounds a bit weird, but it’s amazing. Chocolate lends itself to smoky flavors, as is obvious by the trend to include whiskey and other dark spirits in chocolate bars, and vanilla has been added to chocolate to enhance its flavors for many years. The combination is quite stellar.
I can’t begin to describe the complexity and layers of flavors, but if you’re an adventurous chocolate lover, or you know someone else who is, a flight of bars, including this one, would make a fantastic gift.

the smoke is subtle but nice. it's not too sweet... just sweet enough. nice flavor. slightly chalky texture though.

Love love love this bar. The combo is so complex and you can eat one piece and the taste just lingers and lingers. I've found myself consistantly reordering this bar cause it's one of a kind.

This bar is incredibly unique. I've had a hard time deciding whether I love or hate it. The smoke is really strong, and overpowers the vanilla and to some extent the cacao itself. I would recommend trying it for yourself, as my group found it pretty polarizing.

I taste more smoke than vanilla, and would personally rather that was flipped. Still good, and different enough to be interesting.
