Accessibility Statement

Accessibility Commitment

Bar & Cocoa is committed to improving access to our website, products, and services for customers with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing part of our website design, development, content, and quality-review process.

We recognize that people use the web in different ways and with different assistive technologies. We work to identify and correct barriers and to provide assistance when a customer cannot access information or complete a purchase.

Web Accessibility Statement

This statement describes our current accessibility approach, the technical standard we use as our target, and how to contact us if you encounter a barrier.

Our Status and Standards

Bar & Cocoa uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as its current technical accessibility target. We evaluate representative pages and customer journeys using automated testing and manual review. Automated testing alone cannot evaluate every accessibility requirement.

Accessibility testing and remediation are ongoing. Some areas of the website may not yet fully meet our target, so this statement should not be understood as a certification or a claim that every page and third-party feature fully conforms.

Third-Party Integrations

Some website features are provided by third-party services, including reviews, chat, social content, and other embedded tools. These features remain part of the customer experience we evaluate. When we identify a barrier in a third-party feature, we work to provide a reasonable alternative where possible and pursue remediation with the provider.

User-Generated Content

Some areas of the website may include reviews or other content submitted by customers. We may not be able to ensure that every item of user-generated content is fully accessible. If particular content creates a barrier, please contact us so we can help provide the information in another form where reasonably possible.

Accommodations and Alternative Formats

If you cannot access particular website content or functionality, contact us using the methods below. We will work with you to understand the barrier and identify a reasonable way to provide the information or service, including personal assistance with an order when appropriate.

Legal and Regulatory Considerations

Our accessibility program is informed by applicable accessibility requirements and recognized technical guidance, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and WCAG. For general information about website accessibility under the ADA, visit the U.S. Department of Justice guidance on web accessibility and the ADA.

Feedback and Contact Information

We welcome feedback about accessibility barriers. If you have difficulty accessing any part of the website or have a suggestion for improvement, please contact us. You do not need to disclose the nature of a disability or provide personal information that is not necessary to understand the issue.

How to Contact Us

If possible, please provide:

  • Page: The web address or name of the page where you encountered the issue.
  • Description: A brief description of the barrier or task you were trying to complete.
  • Device and browser: The device and browser you were using.
  • Assistive technology: The assistive technology you were using, if relevant and if you are comfortable sharing it.

Response Process

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two to three business days. After reviewing the issue, we will share available assistance and, when possible, information about next steps or remediation.

Ongoing Commitment

We will continue reviewing and improving the accessibility of our website. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, we are happy to assist with information or an order by phone or email while we investigate the issue.
