Maker
Definite ChocolateDefinite Chocolate is a micro batch bean to bar chocolate maker from Dominican Republic. By sourcing directly from local cacao producers, they use only high-quality single origin cacao, which they roast, winnow, grind, temper and mold into fine chocolate bars with the utmost care. As far as possible, Definite Chocolate uses only locally sourced ingredients to support the local industry and to give a touch of Caribbean feeling to every bar. All their bars are made naturally without any additives. Definite Chocolate was founded by Jens Kamin, who moved from Germany to the Dominican Republic to make his dream come true and become a chocolate maker. They are the first Dominican chocolate producer who won an international award, and that only one year after starting their business in 2017.
AAnonymousI'm not a chocolate expert or anything but it tastes like heaven
CCharlotteI adored every morsel of this bar. The packaging is beautiful and I love the mission of the brand. Open it up and the aroma transports you immediately to a sultry coffee-filled heaven. Nice texture. The flavor experience is awesome too - strong, though not overpowering, expresso and date hit first and then melt into a creamy salty nutty caramel and the aftertaste is the air at a good coffeeshop - roasted coffee beans and cocoa dust.
CCindy L.M.Excellent flavor!! Lovely packaging and designs also. Thank you for the mug and cocoa!
MMaxene G.This was the first Deifnite bar I tried. I don't get too much coffee - it almost feels like it's part of the bar. More like a latte. It's smooth, and slightly salty, but the salt is mixed in so it's not as perceptible. It's more delicate than I thought it would be but quite nice. Nothing amazing.
