This chocolate has a silky texture and a creamy profile with a refreshing, sweet acidity dried fruits, notably dark raisins and a spicy touch.
In the south of India, the district of Idukki is a place with ideal conditions for growing cacao, surrounded by aromatic spices. The green hills are known for their tropical climate that offers an average temperature of 24ºC with abundant rain and also lots of sun.
In the farms they can find different food crops such as papaya, mango or passion fruit, as well as a wide variety of spices, such as pepper, nutmeg, vanilla or cardamom.
Thanks to the help of GoGround, cacao farming is very present in the region of Idukki combined with crops of fruits and spices.

PucheroPuchero, started as a coffee roaster and then grew to include their passion for making chocolate. The co-founders Paloma and Marco, from Spain and Italy respectively created Puchero in 2015. Their roastery and chocolate factory is in the outskirts of Madrid. Three years later in 2018 inspired by the infinite nuances of cacao from around the world, they started making chocolate from cocoa beans that have been harvested and dried on the farm by small-scale producers.
