A unique combination of two signature (and favorite) products from Pump Street: dark chocolate and sourdough. Our sourdough crumbs and a touch of sea salt add crunch and a smooth, malty flavor to the Ecuadorian chocolate. This is a unique combination and to our knowledge the first time a chocolate bar has been made with sourdough.
Ingredients: cocoa beans, cane sugar, organic cocoa butter, breadcrumbs (wheat flour, natural sourdough starter, sea salt), sea salt.

Cacao Region
Cotopaxi, EcuadorCotopaxi is an Ecuadorian province smack in the center of the country, just south of the capital city of Quito. The province is perhaps best known for the national park and its volcano of the same name, which draw thousands of visitors each month. A significant portion of the province is indigenous Ecuadorian, most of whom work in agriculture. Corn, potatoes, wheat, and flowers for export are the most common crops in the temperate zones, while cacao, coffee, and sugarcane dominate the province’s most tropical areas.
Cacao Estate
Hacienda LimonHacienda Limon is located at the foot of the Andes Mountain Range, between endless plantations of cacao and banana. The climate on the farm is tropical & humid year round, with nutrient-rich volcanic soil thanks to the nearby Cotopaxi Volcano. Owner Samuel von Rütte, together with his wife Anita & four other families, run the 110-hectare plantation, which is dominated by strains of pure nacional arriba cacao varietals. In 2014, one of these varietals was awarded a heirloom cacao designation status, ensuring the protection of variety diversity. No insecticides or fungicides are used on the farm, and only very reduced herbicides (spot application) are ever utilized.
Ordered a few more bread infused chocolate on this website but this one is by far the most well made
This is my absolute favorite chocolate at the moment...and the reason I started ordering from this site :) Try it, you’ll see!
It is such high quality chocolate
Often, dark chocolate does not melt well.
This turns quite soft and lovely.
This is a bar that keeps me coming back for more. The sourdough flavor is subtle yet distinct and makes for a unique dining experience. Tried the small bar and now treating myself to the larger version.
The sourdough crunch tasted amazing, but the chocolate was mediocre. tasted plasticy
