    Cacaoteca is a tree to bar chocolate maker from Miches, Dominican Republic. Back in 2015, owner Coral was surprised by the exceptional taste of Dominican cacao. She realized that Dominican cacao is considered some of the best in the world, there weren’t any chocolate makers in the Dominican Republic taking advantage of its amazing crop! Using locally sourced cacao beans that are only a short few hours away from Cacaoteca’s location, it has a positive impact on the Dominican economy, since cacao is mostly exported. Cacaoteca works directly with its farmers, and train the farmers how to dry the beans ensuring top quality. Cacaoteca also provides fair pay for the high quality cacao and showcase the flavors of Dominican cacao.

    Rich dark chocolate, healthy and free from cadmium. We bought Cacaoteca Chocolate specifically because it was the healthiest chocolate in the world, grown in the Dominican Republic. It’s also the best.
