Fruition Chocolate

Fruition Chocolate was created in 2011 by Bryan Graham located in Shokan, NY. Graham, was always interested in pastry as a young boy and has worked his way as a pastry chef. Over the years, Fruition is keen on exceptional attention to detail from the calibration of ingredients, packaging, and appearance of the bar (mold, snap, color) make them one of our top bean to bar craft chocolate makers in the world. Fruition has won many awards for their bars over the years, including ‘Best in Competition” Fruition was one of the first bean to bar makers to experiment with new concepts such as bourbon-barrel aging and creating bars with just two ingredients.

Cacao Region

Sambirano Valley, Madagascar

Perhaps the most famous growing region in the world, northern Madagascar's Sambirano Valley is known for its incredibly fruity cacao and aromatic herbs & spices. Over the past few decades three main plantations have popped up in the area to supply cacao to chocolate makers around the world, as well as some of the world's most valuable botanicals, namely vanilla, ylang-ylang, and essential oil extracts.

Akesson Estate

Perhaps one of the most famous origins in the world, Akesson’s Estate consists of several individual farms in northwestern Madagascar’s Sambirano Valley. The most prolific of these is certainly Bejofo Estate, which alone produces around 300 tons of cocoa each year. Over the last decade, Malagasy cacao (cacao grown on Madagascar) has earned a reputation for fruity, almost juicy cacao beans, which transform into some of the most unique chocolate in the world. All of the cacao grown on Akesson Estate is organic-certified.

Great Bar

An all time best 2 ingredient bar of chocolate. Fruity, tangy, deep, worth spending time with each portion, just letting it melt into fullness. I buy this bar each visit to B&C.

So fruity!

If you like fruit notes in your chocolate, you’ll love this bar. It’s smooth on the tongue and rich in red fruit flavors. There’s a hint of tartness and citrus notes that makes this a delight to enjoy.


Always a big fan of Madagascar and really appreciate it at 74% over the standard 70% we always see. I’ll be enjoying this bar again!!

Very bright/fruit forward with almost some tang to it. Dark/rich background. Very good.
