Made with 85% dark chocolate from the beans and it's shaved into the perfect flakes for melting into warm milk. This yields a drinking chocolate with a rich flavor and silky texture and tasting notes of toffee, toasted walnut and cocoa.

Pump Street Chocolate is an award winning British chocolate maker in Suffolk, UK. All of their chocolate bars are handcrafted from direct trade beans and natural ingredients. Their bars have won many accolades from the International Chocolate Awards, the Academy of Chocolate and Great Taste. Originally started as a bakery, producing high quality breads and pastries Pump Street decided to take a turn and tackle bean to bar chocolate.

Cacao Estate

Hacienda Limon

Hacienda Limon is located at the foot of the Andes Mountain Range, between endless plantations of cacao and banana. The climate on the farm is tropical & humid year round, with nutrient-rich volcanic soil thanks to the nearby Cotopaxi Volcano. Owner Samuel von Rütte, together with his wife Anita & four other families, run the 110-hectare plantation, which is dominated by strains of pure nacional arriba cacao varietals. In 2014, one of these varietals was awarded a heirloom cacao designation status, ensuring the protection of variety diversity. No insecticides or fungicides are used on the farm, and only very reduced herbicides (spot application) are ever utilized.

A must have for any Pump Street Chocolate fan!

In the nose I get oak, dark fruit, walnut and cocoa.
In the taste I get oak, buttery, vanilla (none added), walnut and cocoa.
Yummy! Perfect for gift giving!

Exceptionally smooth

This drinking chocolate has a silken texture that easily melts into milk. Even at 85% cacao, bitterness is almost nonexistent, limiting the need to add sugar. There’s a buttery roundness to the flavor that makes for a luxurious drinking experience. I would definitely recommend.
