Cacao Region
Sambirano Valley, MadagascarPerhaps the most famous growing region in the world, northern Madagascar's Sambirano Valley is known for its incredibly fruity cacao and aromatic herbs & spices. Over the past few decades three main plantations have popped up in the area to supply cacao to chocolate makers around the world, as well as some of the world's most valuable botanicals, namely vanilla, ylang-ylang, and essential oil extracts.
I am obsessed. I've ordered probably 15 since beginning of COVID. TRY THIS!
Great mouthfeel and melt! Notes if graham cracker and roasted almond skin.
Wow, Sara's review has inspired me to buy this chocolate bar. I will definitely be entering it into my CocoDiary.
In general, it is a very good bar. Personally, I did not enjoy the contrast between milk and fruity flavors. It is just me though, I do not appreciate milk. Therefore the notes of milk, red fruits, and chocolate are a bit too much for my palate. I still give 4 stars because the flavor profile is solid.
