Nestled in the heart of the Caribbean, the island of Hispaniola - with its craggy topography and romantic yet often storm-battered coastline - has a long history of cocoa production. Endowed with a high cocoa content, BAHIBÉ 46% offers a balance between the sweetness of milk and the intensity of cocoa , with an essence of nut, enhanced by fruity acidity and a slightly bitter flavor.

Valrhona has been producing chocolate in the small village of Tain L’Hermitage, France since 1922. From the beginning, they have been dedicated to create the unique, artisan quality chocolate with complex, balanced and consistent flavors. With years of working towards perfecting techniques for enhancing the flavor of cocoa beans. In order to master the art of craft chocolate, they have their own plantations in Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.
