KanVela Chiang Mai Origin is a celebration of their cacao trees in their Mae Taeng District orchard, Chiang Mai Province. The trees are planted in Mediterranean red soil that was passed through a 7-day fermentation process, at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. This was my first time trying Kanvela Chocolate, and I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor profile leans floral and fruity, with a smooth, creamy texture that melts beautifully. It offers an elegant experience, and I find it to be a great representation of a unique origin. This bar has earned a spot among my favorites for its refined notes and enjoyable texture.
