Club Add an Extra Month

Overall: 3 stars. Unfortunately, no new favorites or anything that totally blew me away. My enjoyment was dragged down a bit by the white chocolate offerings which I find so hard to do well.

Warm weather packaging: Nothing came damaged or melted. Arrived with an ice pack. No complaints.

Overall: Another box with a spectrum of ratings rather than a home run, but there were two bars I really liked, and I enjoy learning and experiencing more about the diversity of flavor profiles that are possible across brands and bean origins.

Overall: While none of these bars were bad, this box was a bit lacking compared to my first one. There seemed to be less variety in flavors, fewer flavor profiles that really stood out, and just overall less to be excited about. The best one of the four would be the Baiani bar with Orange Zest.

The chocolate is extremely unique. I chose the dark chocolate club as a gift for my husband, who really loves extremely dark chocolate. I think he has been really satisfied with the uniqueness of the chocolate, the flavor profiles, all of that good stuff. It’s usually only about 70% dark, though, and he tends to like his more around 85%. So I’d say the gift was a hit, but not a home run for him.

I have bought this for my sister (and family) twice and not only so they love it but I make excuses to go over for dinner just so I can try each new bar!

Discover Chocolate Club

This is my second time buying this subscription for my mum and she loves it. She raves about the communication, customer service, packaging, and, of course, the chocolate. I spent the better part of a year trying to find a good chocolate subscription for my very spartan giftee and now that she’s used to this luxury, I can’t imagine why we’d stop ordering. Wonderful!

I first purchased the gift box for myself as a little Christmas gift/advent calendar and LOVED every piece of chocolate I got. Sooo after a few months of obsessively thinking about the amazing chocolate I ate, I caved and bought the subscription service. I am one month in, and of course, the chocolates are awesome. I don't know how people can make chocolate this good, but it feels like magic. Definitely also love the adventure box, since it comes with the most interesting types of chocolate I've never heard of.

My wife loves the service and the chocolates. We had to pause for a while when living in Arizona due to extreme heat. We moved and we are back! Once again my wife is thrilled each time the month selection arrives. Keep up the great work.

I am glad I tried the club. But I think I prefer to pick bars myself and avoid those I don’t generally like, such as with coffee in them and other odd ingredients. I do like the variety of offerings on your website and will continue to visit and order.

I buy this subscription as a present for my best friend and it’s been an incredible experience. This is not the first chocolate subscription I tried, but it’s the best and the one I’ll be sticking with for sure. Chocolates are shipped on time, with care, and she raves about the quality. We’re both very happy!

This 5 star review is for the customer service. This box got lost in the mail and the tracking showed it had been stuck in limbo for quite some time. I reached out to the company and they happily sent a replacement, which I'm very appreciative of.

I enjoyed the presentation, the variety of flavor profiles was interesting, and it was nice to get things that I probably wouldn't have thought to buy myself. Definitely a notch above the chocolate I've had access to in the past. I ended up enjoying all of them quite a bit, and I look forward to what my second box will bring.

I hope to do individual reviews on each one if the site will let me.

The first box was AMAZING! I enjoyed every bar. The second box all of the chocolates were very sour. I love very dark chocolates and even enjoy cocoa nibs but this group I really didn’t enjoy. I hope the next box is more balanced

I purchased the 3-month Discover Dark Chocolate Club for my husband as a birthday gift. We have had so much fun going through all the chocolates together each month and enjoying all the various & delicious flavors. We've enjoyed tasting and learning so much about dark chocolates from around the world and would definitely recommend as a unique and awesome gift for anyone!

Sent this as a birthday gift to a friend in Arizona. Not only did she love all the chocolate varieties, they didn’t melt after delivery with the cooling packaging. Worth doing for future gifts.

My siblings gift my husband and myself for our birthday’s each year with dark chocolate from the Club. It’s always incredibly delicious!

I like the concept of the Discover Club however I found that I only liked one or two bars out of the four sent and ended up giving away the others. I will say that without the discover club, I wouldn’t have found the Flak Brown Cheese milk chocolate bar that I dream about frequently.

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a chocolate subscription for Christmas. We are loving it. The quality of the chocolate is fantastic, and we love learning about where each bar comes from. We also love supporting small farmers throughout the world. Highly recommend everyone treat yourselves like we have.

I ordered the 3 months for my husband, and he has thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it all! I am not a fan, and he keeps trying to share it with me-but it’s all his, and he has appreciated every bite! It was the perfect Christmas present, especially for those that don’t want anything! I’m so happy I found this for him, and we will definitely order again! Thank you!

Treating myself to a subscription from Bar and Cocoa has been on my indulgence list for over a year :) I'm glad I jumped in! (Your payment plan made it possible to attain this luxury). As a Celiac I really wanted to choose the flavored bar options, but with no way to select or indicate my allergy I had to settle for the plain varieties. I like single origins but was truly wanting to explore flavors I've never had before. Please consider making the subscription options more accessible for those of us with allergies. If I had more choice in flavors I would continue the subscription after 3 months. But as it stands I likely will not renew.

In the evening with a little dark chocolate and red wine or tea the day always seems to finish just fine.
