Matasawalevu Farm

Matasawalevu Farm is located in the hills of Dreketi on Vanua Levu, Fiji, and is one of the larger cacao estates in the South Pacific. Started in 1979, the farm now operates 100 acres of Forestero Amelonado cacao using traditional post-harvest techniques. Fresh beans are fermented in hardwood boxes and sun-dried on decks, resulting in cacao that has earned recognition in international cocoa awards for its consistent quality.
