Vanua Levu

Vanua Levu is Fiji's second-largest island, where British colonists introduced Trinitario cacao in the 1880s. The hilly terrain with ideal microclimate supports several farms, including Matasawalevu Cocoa Farm with Forestero Amelonado beans. Though cacao production declined, modern producers like Cacao Fiji and KokoMana are revitalizing the industry with small-batch chocolate production.
