Moka Origins

Jeff Abella's key motivations are good coffee, ethical chocolate, his family, and empowered communities. Jeff started working in Cameroon, Africa in 2007 and has been focused on humanitarian development initiatives ever since. His passion for social entrepreneurship led him to on humanitarian projects not only in West Africa, but North India and Central Mexico as well.

In 2015, Jeff co-founded an impact-driven cacao and coffee farming project in Cameroon. This spiraled into establishing Moka Origins, a Pennsylvania based craft chocolate and coffee roasting company.

Good Quality, Thick chocolate bar

The bar is about 1/3 of an inch thick. Solid. Half white half dark. W/ peppermint
tastes good. It does not taste extreme peppermint, Which i actually like, but it's enough. The peppermint candy kind of gets stuck in your teeth for a min and is the final touch after the chocolate is gone. I bought this bar for the ingredients. I don't like fake dyes and stuff.

EXCELLENT

I am very picky about peppermint chocolate. The Moka bar is excellent dark peppermint bark. I don't like sweet chocolate, I like rich chocolate and refreshing mint. This one is perfect.

So much better than Peppermint Bark

This hefty bar starts with a luxurious base layer of dark chccolate, next comes the amazing white chocolate layer (for the record I hated white chocolate UNTIL I tried Moka’s vanilla white bar which is now one of my faves), topped off with a generous helping of crunchy peppermint stick bits. Amazing!
