They pick their cacao from regions located along the maritime spice route where traders sailed hundreds of years ago to exchange spices and ingredients. These locations such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea and India inspire Mirzam to create their unique tasting chocolate bars. Mirzam opened in 2016 and have already won multiple awards for different bars.

This bar is complex with the coffee and cardamom flavors making it taste darker and richer. More like a 70% but with the sweetness of the 62% that it is balanced by the deeper coffee and spice notes. I think deep milk chocolate lovers will enjoy this as well as dark chocolate lovers who enjoy around 72%. I've purchased it twice and would buy it again. It's a great gift for anyone that loves coffee and chocolate. It's also beautiful the way it's etched.

This was exactly what I was chasing. Beautifully bittersweet dark chocolate with cardamom and coffee. Would go perfect with an Arabic coffee!!

If you like chocolate covered coffee beans, then you will enjoy the flavor of this bar! The coffee flavor is strong. The cardamom flavor is very mild. The texture of the bar is smooth.
