Maker
FiretreeFiretree Chocolate is dedicated to crafting rare, single estate chocolate with a true sense of place. They source their cocoa from small, remote volcanic islands in the South Pacific and Madagascar, where the mineral-rich soil creates some of the most distinctive taste notes in the world. The name “Firetree” comes from the cocoa tree’s flame-colored pods, and from its base in Cambridgeshire, England, the company follows a meticulous bean-to-bar process to preserve each origin’s character. Committed to fairness and sustainability, Firetree works directly with farmers or their co-ops, paying premiums that support communities and protect landscapes.

Really good work, excellent bar. I really enjoy Firetree.
This is one of my favorite makers. These mini bars are delicious with subtle flavors that last on the palate.
Fire tree bars are some of my favorites and these mini bars are a wonderful way to sample a selection of them to determine what ones to order in the larger size. Personally, I have liked every single Firetree bar I’ve tried. I tend to like in the range of 65-80% and berry or citrus notes. I really enjoyed having 5 different bars and tasting them in comparison to each other. All high quality and so sooo good!
🍽🍫 Served on a plate of cocoa to carry the other notes, we get deep, sultry red raspberry flavor front and center, with first of the season strawberries 🍓 a few steps behind.
The last course is a hint of lemon 🍋 and black plum. The tartness of plum skin is a perfect, more mellow compliment to the sour tang of lemon ❤ Licking the plate clean, you get rich cocoa notes that linger for only a moment.
🌴 On the two family farms in Guadalcanal, the coconut palm trees that help shade the cacao tree also provide a sustainable fuel source for the island, as well as the boat that takes the sundried beans to Papa New Guinea for transport around the world 🌎
