The Mayan people are known to have combined cacao (“ka’kau”) with spices and chile peppers to produce the “drink of the gods.” With this bar, they honor the traditional ingredients found in their ancient drink, blending them into a unique chocolate experience. They finished this bar by adding unrefined raw ka’kau to enhance flavor and texture.

Ranger Chocolate Co. has been crafting chocolate in Portland, Oregon since 2013. Based on family recipes and named after founder George Domurot’s niece - a National Park Service Forest Ranger - they carefully handle each cacao bean to unlock nuance, regionality, and terroir-driven flavors in their chocolate. Ranger’s chocolate and treats are made with utmost attention to detail, ethically sourced organic cacao, and fine ingredients. Their love of the outdoors is reflected by donating annually to the Friends of Trees and Audubon Society.

We like having a variety of choices from different countries of origin. We like looking up info on these places and savoring the chocolate. It is a very high quality experience.

You really can't go wrong

There's something for everyone in the dark chocolate bundle. Savory, sweet, crunchy, fruity. I've really enjoyed tasting my way through this collection with my friends and family.

Unique with a nice crunch

The crunchy banana chips are delicious and I like the slight saltiness. Theo & Philo never disappoint :)

A fun mix of texture and flavor

I really like Theo & Philo across the board, but this one is a really special with a pop of heat and sweet tart mango and crunchy nibs. There's a lot of texture in this bar, more than I anticipated, but I really enjoyed it.
