Zotter was started by a husband and wife team in 1987. They have made many strides over the last decade tucked away in a picturesque rolling hills landscape of Austria. Zotter is the only company in Europe that uses all organic and Fair Trade ingredients. They also have sustainable business practices, using solar and geothermal energy to run their entire production facility, and use packaging made from renewable sources. Zotter's philosophy has garnered them many awards both for their business success and chocolate making. They are a family business that adhere to family principles. This allows for a plethora of creative freedom to create fun and exciting chocolate bars. Zotter first produced their "hand scooped" bars with couverture from Valrhona and Callebaut but always dreamed of making their own chocolate, and in 2006 this became a reality. We feature Zotter's Labooko line of chocolates, that feature cacao sourced from all over the world. Zotter has the largest line of chocolate in the world with over 450 different chocolate in their range.

Yuzu is probably my favorite fruit, so I was delighted to find this bar. Absolutely delicious and strong yuzu flavor!

delightful. the flavor of the chocolate and yuzu is subtle and balanced. however, I was expecting and do wish the yuzu flavor was a bit stronger. but still a solid bar.

Delicious, and interesting. The lemon powder really overpowers any tangerine or yuzu flavor. I love powerful flavor and these deliver. I really enjoy these bars, however I wish they had the same amount of filling, and 3mm or more of chocolate for some snap.

A Zingy Citrus Bit of Joy!

Zotter is excellent at combining their flavors into chocolate truffle bars where the chocolate doesn’t overwhelm. I’d never heard of yuzu until I traveled to Tokyo several years ago and tried the delicious zingy citrus for the first time. I was excited to find Zotter and see that they made a yuzu bar! It is my favorite of theirs (with their Whiskey bar a veeeery close second). If you like citrus, I highly recommend this bar!

Yuzu has such a delightful citrus flavor and Zotter excels at their flavor combinations. The flavor doesn’t get lost at all. Since yuzu isn’t readily available in the US, this is a great way to see what it tastes like!

Perfect Blending

This is a refreshing blend of chocolate and citrus. I’ve not had such a great combination. As with the other Zotter bars I’ve had, this one proves again how fine their combinations are. The Scotch and chocolate is also excellent.
