Purchased through the Vietcacao sector, this cocoa from the Ben Tre region gives a tangy and spicy chocolate that is very pleasant in the mouth.
The beans come from several families of planters and are then taken to a cocoa processing station, installed in a school for disabled young people. Fermentation and drying of the beans take place there in order to control the stages as well as possible.
The powder is pressed and packaged in Donzère at Morin's workshops.
As a 100% cocoa powder, it is great for baking and desserts, but you can also add sugar and milk to your liking for a unique hot chocolate beverage.
Ingredients: 100% cocoa powder from Vietnam. May contain traces of milk, nuts, and sesame.

Morin in 1958 to start making bean to bar chocolate. Since then, they have created artisan chocolate in accordance with chocolate making tradition. They have spent years cultivating relationships with their cocoa producers and farmers to create their line of single origin chocolate bars. They also cultivate over 15,000 acres of fruit and nut orchards to use as raw ingredients such as almonds, hazelnuts and cherries for their pralines, pastes, nougats and jams.
Cacao Region
Ben Tre, VietnamBen Tre is a province in the Mekong Delta area of southern Vietnam, southwest of Ho Chi Minh City. During the Tet Offensive in 1968, Ben Tre City was nearly destroyed by anti-communist bombing, but the province has since recovered, now home to a strong tourism market due to its location along the Mekong Delta. Otherwise, much of the region's economy is based in rice production and tropical agriculture, including notable amounts of coconut and cacao.
other drinking chocolates were more appealing to my taste. It seems good quality and packaging. I can buy it again if no others are available.
It might be also that is in a powder form, I do not like as in a chocolate pieces format
One of my preferred powders for hot chocolate
will definitely buy again
Quality 4/5
I' ve lost a bit of product during the shipping/delivery but the quality is high and the taste is rich and very representative of the cacao origin. Recommended.
