This is a great chocolate to share over coffee or to add it to something plain (i.e.: muesli). By itself, I would only eat the outer chocolate layer. I really like the authentic piedmont flavor. It’s a good investment because it’s very rich and you only need a little piece that can be enjoyed slowly. I like the texture a lot, it’s between a soft toffee and a cold nut spread. The temperatures here are very low so I cannot comment about it’s stability during the Summer months. I am keeping it next to my bed for now instead of the fridge, I divided it into small slices (wrapped individually with food safe plastic film), and it really brightens my night after a long day of work. I will repurchase. Obviously I would prefer they make a darker version, but I wouldn’t change anything about this original version. If the people at Domori are reading this, thank you for making such a good chocolate that transports me to the good old days. This one actually reminded me when I was a kid, it’s like “nucita” but for adults.
