Collection: Qantu

Qantu is a chocolate maker based in Montreal. Qantu was started by Elfi and Maxime in 2016. This pair fell in love with bean to bar chocolate after researching cocoa after their first plantation visit in 2014. The immense passion and pride of the cocoa producers inspired them to create bean to bar chocolate. Qantu focuses on Peruvian cacao for the moment, which is where Maxime and Elfi met over a decade ago in Elfi’s home country. The name “ Qantu” (pronounced “Kantu”) derives from the name of the national flower of Peru and Bolivia. The word comes from the native language of the Peruvian Andes, Quechua, it represents a symbol of unity and hospitality. Show Less
