We have a soft spot for our "Made at Origin" collection of chocolate. We import and consume foods that are made in the same country as as wine and cheese, so why don't we do the same for chocolate? A lot of chocolate is still made far from where the cacao is grown. The transformation of cacao into chocolate adds value to the local economy and adds to local pride, but it also results in a unique flavor profile due to the differences in production methods.
